Engaged in business that places emphasis on the environment
 We not only supply stainless steel for electrical appliances and kitchens, specialty steel for automobiles and machinery, thick steel plates for ships and bridges and titanium and copper alloys for use in factories but also place emphasis on the environment, a theme we have incorporated into the medium-term administrative plan we initiated in 2006. The theme includes such keywords as water, the environment and energy.
We supply the specialty steel used in manufacturing gears and bearings for wind power generators and stainless steel foil for the substrates used in solar batteries. We also supply stainless plates used in plants that manufacture bioethanol, a high-profile fuel made from sugarcane, corn or other vegetables that reduces CO2 emissions.
We supply domestic shipbuilders and plant equipment manufacturers with materials as demand for transporting valuable resources by sea increases, materials for LNG and LPG tanks and steel plates used in nuclear power plants.
 Demand for seawater desalination plants is climbing in Gulf countries in the Middle East to such an extent that it is being called the second desalination boom. We supply these plants and the power plants that use the energy they generate with various material packages, including titanium, copper alloy pipe and stainless-clad steel.
Our target for the future is to expand our business involvement in the areas of both energy creat ion and env i ronmental conservation.
